Bryant Lydell

Bryant Lydell is a Los Angeles-based multimedia creative who draws on his southern upbringing and HBCU experience to produce, write, create and curate vivid media.

He attended Howard University and the University of Southern California (USC) and is currently an adjunct lecturer at USC teaching multiple courses on multimedia literacy and production. He’s produced series for Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade and Yara Shahidi; cast several unscripted series including Netflix’s “Rhythm + Flow,” NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and Disney+' “Best In Snow;” and more. And with his media company Mott Ave, he’s developing unscripted and scripted projects.

He also has extensive experience as a communications professional managing numerous red carpets; elevating brands’ identities; planning and executing events; securing press and more.

Bryant’s sung in ensembles behind icons like Mary J. Blige and Fantasia. And he’s on a thrice- extended sabbatical from his platform The Top Tea – a positive, Black trending news blog with 300K+ followers across socials.

When he isn’t working, Bryant loves to rewatch a select few series, brunch with friends and host events for which he goes the extra mile on decorations.
